Project description
Teched was responsible for building and supporting of all IT infrastructure for 2nd Military World Games, which held in Zagreb during 1999. The IT infrastructure of 2MWG was build on Microsoft technology.
The task of the project was to develop a system for data processing and results publishing of sports events in real time. Hardware support was IBM, server support being IBM/Microsoft cluster, database Microsoft SQL Server, Collaboration Server/Document Management Server and Microsoft Exchange Server. For the asynchronous data transfer between sports fields and data center Microsoft Message Queue Server was used.
Project activities

- Network infrastructure (including Windows NT Domain infrastructure, Microsoft Exchange server for mail infrastructure, Cluster server configuration, Message
Queue Server for data received form remote sport arenas,) - Software infrastructure (including development of custom applications for participants accreditation, lot, sports statistic prosecution, processing and publishing, news authoring and publishing)
