Project description

Formica is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system designed and developed by Teched, initially for the Tax Administration in the Republic of Croatia and subsequently for the STSI (Sector for Technical Services of INA), thus the system is able to be used in both the public and the private sector. 
The system consists of integrated modules for managing the processes of Financial management, Maintenance, Warehousing, Inventory management, Human resources management, Payroll, Purchasing and trade, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). The system also includes electronic document and record management functionality.

Project activities

  • Documentation and analysis of existing business processes in STSI d.o.o., in the areas of Financial management, Maintenance, Warehousing, Inventory management, Purchasing and trade, Asset Management, Payroll and HR management
  • Running workshops to define the requirements of re-engineered business processes to be supported by the ERP system
  • Software engineering, design, development, testing and implementation of the various integrated modules of the system
  • Business process analysis and consultancy for data warehouse and business intelligence system as well as development and implementation of DW/BI data models
  • Production of training materials and running user training courses and system administrator courses
  • Project management – including quality and risk management, and change control management
  • Evaluation and quality assurance
